We must have spent over 20 hours working on this room for the baby. The majority of the time was spent taping lines for the stripes. Juli warned me it was going to take a LONG time to get all those stripes taped off…but I thought “it’ll look so cool”. Now that it’s done, I’m glad we spent the time doing it. If I would have known it was going to take so long, I probably would have skipped out on the stripes.

So now that the baby’s room is done getting painted, it’s time to move on to Mikayla’s room. Although her room is going to be much more simplified in it’s design, it had nothing to do with knowing first hand how hard it is to paint stripes. Her room will be solid pink up top, a large white band (maybe 8-10 inches wide) in the mid section and purple on the bottom. I’ll post some photos of her room when we get ‘er done.
