Mikayla’s Fancy Footwork

September 10, 2005

Mikayla practicing before the game

Mikayla has started playing soccer and her mom couldn’t be more proud ;) Her team’s name is “Super Girls” and their team color is purple. Her first official game was today and although nobody kept score…they won by several points. They played against the Strikers (Blue team).

They’ve had a couple practices this past week and seemed pretty prepared for the game (as about as prepared as 6-7 year-olds can be for their soccer debut). Juli has become the official “Assistant Coach” to the team…and she’s lovin’ every minute of it. Everyone is welcome to come to any of the games. Below is the schedule. If you need directions, give us a call…you know the number.

  • Sept. 10 ~ 8am at Hadley Middle School
  • Sept. 17 ~ 10am at Hadley Middle School
  • Oct. 1 ~ 8am at Hadley Middle School
  • Oct. 8 ~ 9:45am at Wheatland Middle School (Valley Center)
  • Oct. 15 ~ 11am at Wheatland Middle School (Valley Center)
  • Oct. 22 ~ 8am at Hadley Middle School
  • Oct. 29 ~ 8am at Hadley Middle School
  • Nov. 5 ~ 11am at Wheatland Middle School

Enjoy the photos.

Way to go Mikayla, looking good in the soccer field. We will have to come watch you play one of these days.
