We took Kennedi and Mikayla over to get their pictures taken today. Although we took over 100 different shots, we narrowed it down to about 8. It was Brandon and Don’s birthday at work yesterday. Brandon (turning 30) and Don (turning 60) were bombarded with black streamers and balloons as if a bomb of Over The Hill jokes went off around them. That afternoon there was a party for them…including a special guest. Within minutes after the party photos were circulating over the internet, including their very own brandonanddon.com website.

While Juli is in a presession class at Newman University I’ve become Mr. Mom. For those who can remember back that far and have seen Mr. Mom the movie (starring Michael Keaton) you are probably getting an incredible image in your head right now. But don’t get too overally sympathetic for me just yet…I mean I haven’t actually had to take anybodies whoopie away just yet.

So far it’s been pretty layed back. Although at times Kennedi can be very needy, a fresh bottle, clean diaper and a refreshing nap are the only three things needed to keep her content (in fact, she is asleep right now). And as far as looking after Mikayla (who is becoming more self-sufficient) a few games of Atari, Kings on the Corner, and a touch of TV keeps her satisfied.

Ohhh…gotta go. Kennedi just woke up from her nap and requires one or more tasks from her “Keep Kennedi Content” list.
