Parking Awareness & Reforming Kinship
After being completely impressed with Coudal Partners’ SHHH! Cards, I had the idea of making a set of cards that expresses my distaste for a bad parking job.

Parking Awareness & Reforming Kinship (P.A.R.K.) is a simple concept. Download these cards. Print them off. Cut them out. Stick them in your car. The next time you pull into a parking lot and can’t park because some yahoo has parked like a moron, slip them one of these cards and voice your anger.

I had this exact same idea. I can’t believe somebody actually did it. That’s so cool.

Well Done!!!!! I just posted a rant about my latest brush with parking deficient idiots and you have provided me with the ammo I need for next time…

I am thinking about putting the card on their car using Packing Tape… don’t want it blowing away and polluting the environment… ya know?

This is great, not connected to a printer on this computer, but I am definately going to print these out. Only thing, they should have fine print in Spanish and (I live in Miami) Creole because there are 1.5 million people that don’t speak english.

Guy, thanks for checking these out. I’ve never thought about making them multilingual. That may be an option in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.

Heh, I live down on the south coast of England. It would be a nice option to have the cards in braille for some of the folks who drive around here!

This is genius! I will be using up wayy too much printer ink on these suckers…but well worth it! How else will people learn??? Now if only we had cards we could throw out the window to other cars while driving? Say, for not using turn signals? Or going 10 below the speed limit in the left hand lane? Or driving with your turn signal on for 5 miles. Ahhh…

I was going to make my own stickers that said “Learn how to park!” but this will work also.

Looks like these cards are a bigger hit than I thought they’d be. I have plans to update these cards with new messages. Will post once it is done.

I just placed one of these parking cards on somenoe’s car. A certain driver has used two parking spot for a Ford Taurus, which doesn’t even look new. It looks at least 3 years old. So I hope this person will get a laugh and also some manner.

Thanks for the heads up Ian. The site recently went down and I’ve had to restore files manually for many of the posts. Looks like I missed this one. I’ll get it back online and let you know when it’s available.
