Second Grade Rocks Second Grade Rocks Mikayla’s first day of 2nd grade was this past Wednesday. She says the best part of her first day of 2nd grade at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School was getting to meet new friends and having reccess before lunch. Click the pictures to see them bigger.

100,000 Miles

August 3, 2006

After almost 8 years (about 7 years and 11 months) I have fullfiled my goal in putting over 100,000 miles on my car. I know it sounds odd. Not everyone wants to put that many miles on their vehicle. For me, it’s just a goal I’ve wanted to reach for quite a while. Now, if my car lasts another 100,000 I may need to call Mazda and get some face time.

    • Kennedi made a leprechaun catcher in school today. Hope this thing works. Would be nice to get the mortgage paid off sooner than later.
    • Bought my Poppy a new computer. 21" LCD. If he can't see his poker cards on that size of screen, I'm not sure what else could help him.
    • Received word this afternoon my snowboard shipped today. Already getting anxious for next season.
    • Amazing how much farther I can run with The Distillers screaming in my ears.
