We finished painting the baby’s room this past weekend. It’s blue with white, green and brown stripes running through the middle. Pretty sweet if I do say so myself. Check out the photos and give us some feedback.

The past couple of weeks have been pretty busy around here. We’ve been trying to finalize a few items on our To-Do-List before the “Wee-One” arrives. Below is an update to our list:

• Paint Baby’s Room
• Buy Baby Furniture
• Decorate Baby’s Room
• Get Bigger Car

Two of our big items are done…and it feels great (and drives great too).

About two weeks ago we purchased a 2007 Honda Pilot to accomodate our growing family. It’s very spacious, holds alot of stuff and smells good. We went with the EX model in a Billet Silver color. It’s pretty sweet.

Secondly, as of this morning, we finished painting the boy’s room. It’s flippin’ sweet. Photos of the room are coming shortly because words can’t describe it (altough, blue it’s blue, with a green and brown stripe running horizontally around the room).

Obviously our list still has one more item. We still need to get a few furniture pieces for the room and put up some photos and/or artwork. But that’s the easy part.

Mikayla’s first soccer game went really well. Although their team didn’t come out victorious, the entire team still played very hard. Mikayla had a chance at playing goalkeeper during the game and did an incredible job at stopping the other team. Take a peek at a short video of Mikayla playing goalie.

This is Mikayla’s first day of the spring soccer season. Here she is playing goalie and defends a shot against the rival team. Check out the distance she gets when she throws it back to the midfield!

Spring training for Mikayla’s soccer started last week, kicking off with her first practice last Sunday afternoon. This means in only a week the spring soccer season for AYSO Region 208 will officially start. Mikayla is very excited about the spring season and looks forward to practice each Sunday afternoon.

Juli, acting as the team Coach again, is training her team well. Running, passing, drills, stretching, and one-finger push-up (okay, I made that last one up).

Make sure you come to some of the games and watch Mikayla and Juli on the field. The schedule is below for quick reference, or you can download a PDF of the schedule (to print and hang on your fridge).
