For a while now, Kennedi has been interested in singing songs…whether they’re songs Bella is singing, songs on the radio, or songs she makes up (my favorite being “Pancakes and Milk”). However, recently Juli, Erin and myself have been seeing the ABCs to her while we wash her hands or while we’re just hanging out. As it turns out, she has completely picked up on this catchy tune and can now be heard wondering around the house singing her ABCs…in full…without missing a letter. She’ll even give it her very best to say “Now I know my ABCs, next time won’t you sing with me”.

In addition to knowing her ABCs, she is also able to count all the way up to 10, without missing a number. SWEEEET!

Juli and I are always proud of Mikayla. However, today is little different. A couple days ago Mikayla had her first major science test at school. Today, she received the results of that test and was very excited to tell us she received an A+ (100%…minus zero…a perfect score…every question answered correctly)! She was one of three girls in her class to receive 100% and it made her giggle to tell us that none of the boys in class received a perfect score. Way to go Mikayla!
