Mikayla is the proud owner of a new set of glasses. She had an eye exam a few days ago and it turns out she is as blind as I am. After some tests, the eye doctor determined she needed glasses as well as bifocals for reading. She picked out some cool green frames at Target. I have to say, they’re pretty sweet and she looks really good in them.

Mikayla’s soccer team finished up the 2008 fall/winter portion of their season. From all the games that I tracked, below is how they finished out. I’m pretty sure I’ve missed the scores of a game or three…but this is pretty close.

We downloaded a bunch of photos off of Juli’s Blackberry last night. After looking through them all, we decided to post a few of them to the site. Take a look and let us know how much you enjoyed them. Who knows… you might just find a photo of yourself.

Mikayla’s soccer team has ended their fall season. But don’t worry, their is still more games to come. Her team has joined the Futsal league at the YMCA. What is Futsal you say? In short, it is indoor soccer without the use of walls (read more about Futsal at Wikipedia). Her team will begin playing this Friday night at 5:30pm. All games are held inside the South YMCA (the new Farha Sports Center which is actually behind the main YMCA building) on Friday nights (except for one Tuesday night game on the 25th).
