Tessellation Illusion
February 18, 2009
Mikayla has another piece of artwork added to her gallery. According to her art teacher (Pam Hein), “My fourth grade students explored the math and geometry of tessellations. We began by viewing a PowerPoint presentation showing tessellations. Each student was then given a 2 1/2 piece of chipboard to create their own “puzzle piece”. Although we kept the designs relatively basic, they really enjoyed creating their own optical illusion.”

Nice work Mikala.
One problem though.
Now I’m cross-eyed.
