Kandinsky Watercolor
April 1, 2009
Mikayla’s art class has added, yet another, piece to their online art gallery. According to their art teacher, “The 4th graders studied modern artist, Wassily Kandinsky. After a presentation on the artist they were asked to pencil in a design using shapes and lines to create a Kandinsky-like feel. I added 3-D paint to their penciled design before the next class and then they used techniques they had learned in our watercolor basics class to watercolor their design. Truly beautiful!!”.
Like what you see? Leave Mikayla a message and let her know how much you like it.

Mikayla–I left you a message on the on line art gallery, but I want you to know you have awesome art work. This piece is especially nice with the dimension and how you expressed yourself in form and, of course, my favorite colors!
Love You,
Nana Sawny
